I live in La Vernia only a stones throw away from them! It's not hard to just run by, have a look see, give an estimate and on to their next job.
Unhelpful, rude and unprofessional. Requested assistance with leaks at a medical facility. Without any details, I was placed on hold and told "We can't help you with that". No explanation was provided.
These people just don't show up! Three different appointments, three no shows, no calls to even say they aren't showing up! I'm thinking of suing for wages lost. Their excuses are laughable and dare I say on the immature side in their response.
I was recently met with the reality that I needed a new roof sooner than expected! I conducted a search on the BBB's website and requested quotes from the first three vendors that wasn't paid sponsors. The first came back extremely high, the third never responded, but AAction Roof Services called right away and ask if they could come out and survey the roof. We met at my house that evening and I had a much more palatable quote from AAction the following day. We met Saturday morning and signed the contract and scheduled the installation to begin Wednesday, my new metal roof was completed Saturday. Thanks to the care and attention from AAction owner this was the easiest installation I could imagine, there were no surprises and the owner kept me informed constantly. I will have to mention that the materials 25yr and workmanship 5yr warranty sealed the deal with my wife. Although I never expected any less we experienced our first heavy rain with no leaks or drama. I highly recommend AAction Roof Services, LLC for your next roofing job.
Do not expect them to show up when they say and FORGET about warranty work! I have been trying to get them to do work for weeks with plenty of promises and no show action. I will gladly update this when they finally decide to follow through. This is the second warranty issue I have had with them in the less than 3 years which in itself is not making me happy but they should at least show up when they say and quit avoiding our phone calls and quit with the pathetic excuses! Last time I had to get my attorney to handle the matter. Hoping that is not what it takes this time. Oh and the response from Jim below is the typical BS excuse I have heard before...other clients....sick employee....rain (it was not raining for WEEKS, your employee was sick weeks ago (if at all) and I am sure you have more employees and if not then hire some! other clients....bullshit...this is not a triage, this is your job and if you say you are going to be here and I quote "I PROMISE I WILL BE THERE" then SHOW UP!!!!! We do not have time to sit around waiting on your ass knowing you will not show up. Show some respect and FOLLOW through with your promises!! This is your business you should be proud of but you are running it into the ground by pissing your loyal customers off! I purchased not one but 4 FOUR roofs from this company and was very pleased with the first 3 but have been treated like crap on this last one. I believe Jim has taken on more than he can handle and his business practices are suffering as are his LOYAL clients! Listen up Jim and get your crew over here NOW~!
I also have several neighbors who had the same problem with these people last year a few months after the hail storms. While I can somewhat understand the delay last year, it's hard to get around them just not showing up at all or even making an appointment if they can't make it because they are busy. Most business just hire more people. But I'm of the mind to believe they are greedy, or no one will work for them. Anyway, their name isn't good here in La Vernia. Wish I would have known this before I had called them the first time. It wasn't until a neighborhood meeting we had that I found out allot of things about this business and none of it was good.
Had them come out for 3 estimates. A repair, and then two full roof replacement quotes. (one for a metal roof, one for a shingle roof) Was told he would have a quote to me that evening. The next day I called and was told they would call me back. No nothing. I emailed them to let them know I would be going elsewhere and he sent me back a quote for the repair only. They obviously did not care about my business, as the roof needs repairing before it rains. Will definitely go elsewhere- and pass the word to others. Super disappointed they wasted my week, when I could have had somebody else on the job by now.
