Smallish grocery store with good variety and selection. The employees are nice and the store is clean and not overly crowded like the big stores. Much more pleasant shopping experience.

I'm new to Texas and was looking for somewhere other than huge Walmart super store or fairly pricey HEB to shop at, and missing Aldi's store. I'm still not sure if Arlan' s is a discount store or expensive. There seemed to be both. Good deals on sale items but a little overpriced on other items. The store really needs an update - seems old and in disrepair. It's small but had everything I wanted. The service was good. I'd go again for convenience but have to watch the prices and hope they clean it up some.
