The surgery was done at the local hospital and took less than 5 minutes, I was in the hospital less than two hours. I don't even need my glasses anymore to drive!! I made an appointment with Eye Associates because I couldn't figure out why I couldn't see well at night when driving: road signs were becoming very blurry and I got terrible glare with on-coming headlights. I also could not see to read the newspaper, the print in the Seguin paper has gotten very tiny. Dr. Kavanagh diagnosed me with cataracts in both eyes after a very thorough examination. He gave me a detailed explanation of my condition and my treatment options. I decided to have the cataracts removed, and now I see much better at night without glare.
